365 Day Project - Week 8

Good evening everyone!  This is my last day of holiday before I go back to work, but....it's only only one week until we drive back to Belo Horizonte for a very special wedding!  I'm glad everyone enjoyed my Carnaval pictures...I've included a few more this week as well as some other pictures from this week.  Enjoy!

365 Day Project - Week 7

Carnaval!  It has been a crazy Carnaval weekend here at Casa Silva.  I waited to publish this post so I could include lots of extra photos from the festivities.  We had 11 house guests come to stay this weekend and share in my first Carnaval experience.  We spent a lot of time at the beach, dancing, drinking and eating delicious food.  I hope you enjoy the photos because now I am in need of a rest :)

365 Day Project - Week 6

Boa tarde everyone!  I am sorry for the late post but I was waiting to get a good shot of the Carnaval party that was happening on our street today.  The Carnaval in Vitória is the week before the rest of the Brazil, which means more parties for us!  Today's party was a block party right in front of our house with a big truck that had a band playing on it.  Once the band got started it circled the block and everyone followed and danced and had a great time.  W. thoroughly enjoyed his first Carnaval in 2 years and I loved my first experience.  I've posted a shot from Carnaval today and some others from the week.  More Carnaval photos to come in the next few weeks.  Enjoy!

This week was back to school!  It seems a little bizarre since it is February and it's so hot out.    Here are a few photos from this week.
